Best areas to farm?
What are one of the best places to farm? Besides Underoworld, FoW , and Sorrows Furnace.

You know, if you had written something like "Hi guys, I have been reading the other topics in this forum about farming, and from them, I understand ... Now, here is a question I have in this context ...", I might be much more inclined to answer.

If you think about it the search button is almost useless because the game content and stuff change all the time so to search for farming areas is a waste of time because you can be looking at outdated information. I dont blame people for not using the search button. IMO flame away

Everyone has learned to keep their mouth shut about farming locations, in fear of the Great Nerf Bat (tm)
There are some sweet spots still out there, but it's only discussed amongst friends nowadays.... |

People who keep secrets because they think the nerf bat will strike fail to realize one thing: ANET ALREADY KNOWS WHERE EVERYONE FARMS.....THEY KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT WHERE PEOPLE PLAY AND WHAT THEY FIND.
ANET collects statistics on every aspect of the game. They would be stupid not to collect this information because it shows how people play the game, which will allow them to improve the gameplay experience... That said, here is where I do my solo farming: Trolls outside Henge of Denravi Griffons & Minotaurs outside Augury Rock Hydras outside Augery rock Drakes & Hydras outside Elona Reach Avicara & Trolls & Grawl & Tundra Giants outside Droknars Avicara in Mineral Springs Tundra Giants & Trolls in Iron Mines of Moladune mission Trolls & Tundra Giants in Snakedance Grawl outside Port Sledge/Droknars Last edited by Splatter Mcnasty; Nov 18, 2005 at 10:05 PM // 22:05.. |

Splatter, you completely missed the point. Of course Anet knows where people are farming, they PUT the yummy spots there in the first place.
But they don't NERF a spot until it becomes widespread and over-farmed. Publishing your farming spots here on the Q&A forum is just going to get tons and tons of people farming those spots. THAT'S when Anet nerf's. Good thing you didn't mention my spots. |

nah, I dont buy that theory. If an area is dropping TOO good, it should be balanced. People who get rich because they find an exploit (yes, and area that drops better than it should is an exploit) should be forced to knock it off.
and for the record, there are other places I farm too, but they are difficult to get to or they have the same monsters as the places I listed, so I didnt bother to post them. Some other good places to farm: Arid Sea - Dune Burrowers, Sand Giants, and Rock Scarabs Destiny Gorge East exit - Hydras, Griffons, Sand Giants, Losaru... Elona Reach Mission - Minotaurs, Dune Burrowers Dreadnoughts Drift - Tundra Giants and Griffons Ice Flow - Mursaat (if you can manage to kill them), Ice Imps Perdition Rock - Hydras, Flesh Golems Fire Islands - Drakes, Mursaat Outside Dunes of Despair - Forgotten, Griffons, Drakes, Sand Wurms, Scarabs |

i totally agree with splatter
anet definetly can log how many ppl log into an area and find the rate at which that area is being exposed as well...... etc etc people should keep their mouth shut.... but its doesnt help.... |

It would be so much easier to keep one thread afloat about farming places. Just go bump one of the older threads. Closed.
